The complete title of this book is 'Esta é a Cabeça de São Pantaleão' (This is the head of Saint Pantaleon). It's a 476 page book about the history and study of a religious relic and was designed in a way that alludes to traditional leather-bound books and bibles. Three separate endpiece designs were created and reproduced in equal quantities. Most of the book focuses on historical texts about, and associated with the relic and the Saint, whilst the last section – printed on a different paper stock – details a scientific study of the relic.
